There are possibilities for short walks through the surrounding woods or crossing the stone bridge of Marie Louise (1823) over river Taro. Additionally there are remains of an ancient “pontone” as columns on both sides of the river close to the meadows of Il Pellegrino. For those who prefer longer distances there is the opportunity of climbing up to Casonetti, a nice abandoned village with breathtaking view over the valley. The ligurian Highwalk can be reached within approximately an hour’s walk. Demanding tours can lead from there up to the Cinque Terre.
